We started working on this song during the beginning of the 2020 Pandemic, when we received news that our friend, Jayne Thompson, was murdered by police in Mesa County, Colorado.

In 2020 violence against Transgender people resulted in more murders by August of this year than the entirety of 2019, according to the National Center for Transgender Equality.

While this song isn't about Jayne, a portion of it is (the cool part at the end). And, any proceeds resulting from this song will be donated to the National Center for Transgender Equality.
